The DCI Derrike Cope partnership brings together a wealth of racing and engineering experience, and creates an important objective that fills a much needed gap in the process to bring talented race car drivers from overseas as well as the USA, placing them on a defined route to a well rounded career in the country's leading sport, NASCAR. With over 30 years of racing and team owner experience in NASCAR, 1990 Daytona 500 winner Derrike Cope has tasted success in every category in which he has raced, and right now he is passing on his knowledge and wisdom to up and coming drivers via our development process. Combining his experience with Andy Woolgar's established heritage in leading edge motorsport from Europe, together with deep knowledge of chassis manufacturing and engineering using the latest techniques available we have a very strong partnership in place. Headquartered in the heartland of NASCAR, Mooresville North Carolina, the team is well equipped to take experienced race car drivers into the highly recognised levels of NASCAR such as Camping World Trucks, Nationwide and Sprint Cup from the outset, or, via the 'Aracecardriver' development process starting at lower but equally competitive divisions such as the NASCAR endorsed K&N Pro Series or the ARCA series. Part of our process involves a close working relationship with NASCAR themselves, for all drivers that graduate through our process, for one race or a programme of events. Unlike all other world leading categories of motor sport NASCAR can still offer a defined route without doubt, to talented drivers with sensible funding who want to make racing their long term career. |
